Wax’d returns to the Horse & Groom to kick off your bank holiday weekend in style with one of our favourite DJs, none other than Jane Fitz.

Promoter, music journalist and all-round East London underground house hero Jane Fitz has played a huge part in keeping the purist house movement alive and kicking in the Capital for over a decade.

Jane’s legendary PEG parties helped cement the underground deep house sound in London during the late 90s, taking over unused spaces in the Shoreditch wasteland long before every other party was listed as ‘TBA East London’, often stretching a monumental eighteen hours at a time.

She has also gained a lot of well-deserved notoriety through her long running radio show, “DirtySounds” on myhouseyourhouse.net, where you can hear her long, deep eclectic selection, and gain a bit of a house music education in the meantime. In the past few years she has broadcast guest mixes from the likes of Scott Ferguson, Hakim Murphy, Steven Tang and even b2b sessions with Keith Worthy and Jus-Ed.

She’s also a regular guest at the legendary freerotation festival, and a regular over in the States, whether it be New York, Chicago or Detroit, sharing mixing duties with the likes of Delano Smith and Scott Grooves.

We are very excited to welcome Jane to Wax’d and, as ever, we expect this to get busy, so be sure to click ‘attending’ on this page for concessions list.
